As we all know, activated alumina desiccant is commonly used as a desiccant in air compressors. Our  activated alumina desiccant is a spherical activated alumina desiccant made by special process in a fully enclosed working environment during production. The properties of activated alumina desiccant itself are non-toxic, odorless, non-powdering, insoluble in water, white spherical appearance and strong ability to absorb water. 

Spherical particles with a lot of capillary pores are substances with strong polarity to molecules such as water. It has a strong affinity and is a non-toxic and non-corrosive effective desiccant with high static capacity.

During the operation of our factory, the activated alumina desiccants with specifications of 3-5mm and 4-6mm account for 70% of the total output of activated alumina desiccants. Because there are two types of activated alumina, from the perspective of specifications, both the strength, the alumina content and the water absorption are at the optimal value. Too large or too small will cause the strength of the activated alumina desiccant to a certain extent influences. But having said that, choosing the most suitable activated alumina desiccant for your equipment is the best activated alumina desiccant.

Activated alumina desiccant is generally used to adsorb moisture in the air, but activated alumina has other uses and functions. It can also be used for gas and liquid phase drying of petrochemical industry, air filter and other air inlet equipment and automatic instrument air drying.
