Application effect of Dixon Ring

Dixon ring is a kind of small grain efficient packing, made of metal wire mesh, the diameter of the packing is equal to the height. Specifications are mainly 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, 7×7, 8×8, 9×9, 10×10, 11×11, 12×12 and so on. Due to the capillary action of the wire mesh, the liquid can be well dispersed into the film, which is conducive to the full mass transfer and heat transfer of the gas-liquid two terms, and can significantly eliminate the unstable phenomenon such as groove flow.

(Compared with single layer, the mechanical properties and separation effect of double layer are greatly improved. Generally, double layer is used for more than 5×5mm.)
